BYD 11.04kWh HVM
Five 2.76kWh cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate modules, compatible with leading 1-phase and 3-phase high-voltage battery inverters. Upgradeable in 2.76kWh steps up to 22.1kWh.
Tesla 13.5kWh Powerwall 2
A non-modular, fully-integrated 13.5kWh AC battery for residential or light commercial use — no separate inverter required. Can't be expanded with extra modules, but multiple Powerwalls can run in parallel.
What size battery do I actually need?
For most households, a 9.6kWh or 12.8kWh battery is enough. The right size really comes down to why you want one — emergency backup during an outage is a different job to covering your evening power use and keeping you off the grid overnight. We'll walk through both with you before recommending a size.
Are batteries actually safe in a home?
Every battery we install is lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry — less prone to combustion and thermal runaway than older lithium-ion cells, and rated for up to five times the cycle life. It's the same reasoning that's made LFP the standard choice for home batteries industry-wide.
Are you eligible for a battery rebate?
Queensland's Battery Booster program offers up to $4,000 toward an eligible home battery — $3,000 for households with a combined taxable income up to $180,000, stepping up to $4,000 for households earning under $66,667. We're a registered installer for rebate-approved installations.
